Inspired by late 19th-century Victorian boots and the shoes worn by stars of classic Hollywood cinema —especially in musicals—, the EFFY model blends history, technique, and style.
With a 2 cm heel and a 12 cm shaft, this reinterpreted design belongs to the Polacchino boot lineage, featuring a lace-up entry system. It was originally created as a one-of-a-kind personal piece following my first study trip to Milan. Its construction is artisanal and technically complex, which led to its redesign during my second journey to Italy, where I made key adjustments alongside Gianluca Bompiensieri, master patternmaker at Berluti, who taught me a technical secret to correct the classic flaw of this last.
Each pair is made to order, in limited editions of only 5 units per color combination, crafted from Argentine steer leather and, in some cases, suede. It is a model virtually impossible to find in today’s market.
